Experience report from Czech republic (České Budějovice)

Thanks to the Erasmus Program, I had the opportunity to participate in an incredible adventure in Czech republic. In the Czech republic This period was one of the most memorable and adventure time in my life. I do not know where can I start because I had a milion of experience and beautiful moments. I always wanted to go to the Czech republic, because I fluently speak Slovak language from my childhood and also a growth up on Czech movies , so I always wanted to go there. I wanted to know the Czech people because when they are in the Slovakia. I always have a good moments with them. So I always wanted to know them closer.

My first impresion was very pleasent, because every Erasmus exchange student had a (buddy) who helped to the exchange student with everything. My buddy was very special, because she is Czech girl but his dad he is Hungaryan. He is near from Komarom but the girl she does not speak in Hungaryan because she didn t learn it. They are talking in Czech language at home, but she asked me to teach her. She was my best (buddy). When I had a problem, she always helped me with everything. We always had a month program with ESN members. We had a programs for every week or sometimes every day. We had a lot of trips. Yes of corse we also studyed ,but my first plan was, enjoy whole program and the Czech republic. I have a lot of memory and I want to share with everybody but I think , it wouldn’t be enough here paper for the whole experiences. The end of the programe , when I was the last, who left  because with one Czech girl we went to Karlove Vary. Where was the international film festival. With the Czech girl who invited me there , we also  met with Russell Crowe. He is a very famous American actor, and it was my best memory in my whole life. I stayed near to Karlove Vary two night in the little village. My first fear was the English. Because my English skills was  not so good, but with my roommate who was from Korea  we practiced it , so I think  to the end I improved a lot.

A many times I was in Prague while I was in the Czech republic .The city is fascinating but very crowded. This is the reason why I did not want to go to the capital city to study. I always wanted to visit the Czech villages , because I always liked peace, where is not rushing cars and pushing people. The end of the program with my buddy Simona, we were in the very famous Czech village where was shooted (Slnce seno jahody).

I don’t think these words would be enough to express how kind and good-hearted people I got to know through the Erasmus program. I hope that in the future I will meet and keep in touch with as many of them as possible. Among the pitfalls, I learned that I can get along in life without someone holding my hand. In addition to the people and acquaintances and, above all, knowledge and experience, the Erasmus program also gave me opportunities that I had wanted for a long time to go to such nearby countries as I could have dreamed of and now they were within easy reach for me.

The best thing , it was that  I was able to have these experiences with people who grew close to my heart through the program. Getting to know cultures that I already knew about but didn’t realize gives me such an interesting insight into the people living there. In a positive sense. I can only say one thing to those students who are just thinking about embarking on the big adventure of their life, not all of them can be given this opportunity, they should take advantage of it because they may regret in their life that they miss one of the biggest adventures of their life. So there’s nothing to think about, just take part in this huge adventure that you won’t regret.Ths program changed my life and I do not regret, I know just recomend.
