Erasmus+ mobility programs for students

Support for students and graduates with special needs and disadvantages

Students of JSU with special needs or lack of opportunities, who are participating in student mobility or traineeship mobility within the Erasmus+ programme and who can prove their status with official documents, can apply for Erasmus+ additional support as follows.

Group Description Type of Suppeor Confirmation
Disabilities A person with a disability is any person who has a permanent physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairment. Top-up and/or real costs Document proving disability
Health problems Barriers include serious or chronic illnesses or other physical or mental health conditions that prevent people from participating in the programme. Top-up Medical certificate and/or decision of the Department of Labour, Social Affairs and Family
Economic barriers – low living standards, low income (e.g.
socially deprived family)
– dependence on the welfare system
(e.g. person receiving orphan’s benefits)
Top-up Decision on social assistance and/or decision of the Department of Labour, Social Affairs and Family on financial need
Social barriers – a single parent with children who is caring independently for a child under 15,
– barriers related to discrimination
Top-up A statement of good faith and/or a final court decision finding a violation of non-discrimination
Other Different types of barriers (e.g. ethnicity, migrants, etc.) – depending on the decision of the higher education institution Top-up Declaration of Honour

Outgoing students can only receive top-up (students only) or inclusion support if they fall into the categories according to the methodology.

Top-up subsidy rates:

The monthly long-term mobility allowance is €250.

For short-term mobility, the rate is:

The JSU Erasmus+ Committee will decide on the award of the grant on the basis of the documents submitted. The documents requesting the grant must be uploaded to the online application system when the student applies for mobility.
