The ERACON 2024 International Erasmus Congress and Exhibition was organised from 24 to 28 June 2024 at the School of Engineering-Polytechnic in Porto, Portugal.  The Rector of J.Selye University, Dr. György Juhász, the Vice Rector of JSE, Dr. Renáta Hajabáč Machová and colleagues responsible for Erasmus actively participated in the event. The conference was organised by the European Association of Erasmus Coordinators (EAEC), of which JSE has been an active member since 2022. The annual conference provides a space for the academic and professional communities to expand cooperation in the Erasmus+ mobility programme, share knowledge and experience and contribute to the internationalisation of their institutions by expanding their network of contacts.

During the conference, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Informatics, Dr. Enikő Kahler Korcsmáros, presented the results of a primary research conducted among students of J.Selye University, in which students were asked about their participation in mobility programmes, preferences, obstacles and motivational factors. During the conference, we had the opportunity to introduce our university to other institutions participating in the conference, which allowed us to engage in a direct dialogue on new or continued international cooperation. Our opinion was that the staff of J.Selye University was one of the most prepared and creative during these presentations. We would like to thank the Erasmus+ programme for allowing us to participate in this event.
